Hi, I’m Sable.

I write sports romance for readers who like their athletes accountable and their love stories earned. My books are about the people who play the game off the field too — the trainers, the rivals, the single parents, the second-chance kids who came up through the same town and never quite left it.

I’m drawn to slow burns, found families, and post-game interviews where someone says the wrong honest thing in front of a camera. I write quiet heroes, smart-mouthed heroines, and small towns where everyone shows up to every game whether they like the sport or not.

When I’m not writing, I’m watching late buses pull into rural rinks, listening to the sports podcast nobody else does, and arguing that the best part of any game is the press conference afterward.
